Nagpur, July 26: No poor patient should be deprived of life-saving treatment merely because of financial constraints, and the Maharashtra Government has made adequate financial assistance available through various healthcare schemes to ensure this, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said on Sunday.
He was speaking at the Maha Arogya Camp organized by the Chief Minister’s Medical Assistance Fund and the Charitable Hospitals Assistance Cell at the premises of Dhanwate National College in Nagpur.
Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Skill Development Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Member of Parliment Ajit Gopchade, MLAs Pravin Datke, Sanjay Bhende, Mohan Mate and Rajiv Potdar, Mayor Neeta Thackeray, Shivaji Education Society President Harshvardhan Deshmukh, and several other dignitaries were present.
