 सॉल्ट पॅन जमिनींसंदर्भात कोणताही निर्णय घेताना पर्यावरणतज्ज्ञ, स्थानिक नागरिक आणि संबंधित घटकांना विश्वासात घेणे आवश्यक असल्याचे अहीर यांनी स्पष्ट केले. भविष्यात या जमिनी राज्य सरकारकडे हस्तांतरित झाल्यास प्रकल्पग्रस्त, बेघर नागरिक, गिरणी कामगार आणि इतर वंचित घटकांसाठी परवडणाऱ्या घरांची योजना राबविण्यात यावी, असे त्यांनी सुचविले.

Nagpur, August 2: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today said that educational institutions must align themselves with the changing needs of the job market and focus on creating employable, future-ready human resources equipped with advanced skills. He emphasized that today's industries require not merely graduates but highly skilled professionals capable of making meaningful contributions. He was speaking at the inauguration of the AI Centre for Competency, powered by NVIDIA, at Ramdeobaba University in Nagpur.

Special Court to be Established in Pune for NDPS Cases

 

The State Cabinet has approved the establishment of a Special Court at Pune for the trial of cases registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985. The meeting was chaired by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

Considering the large number of pending cases in Pune, the High Court had recommended the establishment of a Special Court. Accordingly, the Cabinet approved the creation of the court along with eight required posts. These include one post each of District and Additional Sessions Judge, Stenographer Grade-I, Assistant Superintendent and Senior Clerk, two posts of Junior Clerk, and recruitment of two Peons through an external agency. The Cabinet also approved an expenditure of ₹12.635 million (₹1 crore 26 lakh 35 thousand) for the purpose.

At present, nearly 30,000 NDPS cases are pending across the State, of which 1,425 cases are pending in Pune. Court Room No. 22 in the Pune District Court has been made available for the functioning of the Special Court.
