 Maharashtra Governor administers 'No To Drugs Pledge' to youth on PM Birthday

            Mumbai, 17 September : As part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan organised on the occasion of the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Governor of Maharashtra and Chancellor of universities Jishnu Dev Varma administered an Nasha Mukti pledge to the students of HSNC University at KC College Auditorium in Mumbai.

            The Students raised their hands and pledged to remain free from addiction and contribute towards building a drug-free India.

            The Governor launched the ‘Say No to Drugs’ portal developed by the University of Mumbai on the occasion.

 

            The ‘Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat’ programme was organised by HSNC University in collaboration with the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Sevabhavi Trust, Nanded, and Meghashrey Foundation.

 

            Solicitor and Head of HSNC University Adv. Anil Harish, Joint Secretary to the Governor S. Ramamoorthy, K. C. College In-charge Principal Tejashree Shanbhag,  President of the Meghashrey Foundation Seema Singh, Trustee of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Sevabhavi Trust Dr. Sumedh Chavan, actor Ravi Dubey, and Registrar of HSNC University Dr. Bhagwan Balani were present on the occasion.
