 Over 31,000 Patients Screened

In his introductory remarks, former MLA Sandeep Joshi said that health camps held across Nagpur city between July 15 and 22 examined 31,000 patients, of whom around 4,500 will undergo free surgeries.

Earlier, the Chief Minister inaugurated a mobile medical clinic and ambulances, and distributed wheelchairs to persons with disabilities.

Several organizations donated funds to the Chief Minister’s Medical Assistance Fund, contributed to the Gangadharrao Fadnavis Memorial Diagnostic Centre, and presented ambulances. Donors and doctors associated with the mega health camp were felicitated by the Chief Minister. The vote of thanks was delivered by camp co-coordinator and corporator Ritesh Gawande, and the programme concluded with the National Anthem.

The camp offered specialist consultations for cardiology, dermatology, oncology, emergency medicine, ophthalmology, ENT, and several other specialties. Thousands of patients from Nagpur city and district benefited from the camp, receiving free medicines, diagnostic tests, surgeries, and other medical treatments.
