52 coastal villages adopted as ‘Tat Prahari’

As part of its community outreach, CISF has adopted 52 coastal villages as ‘Tat Prahari’ (Coastal Sentinels). In these villages, cultural programmes, street plays, medical services, open gyms, sports facilities, and awareness campaigns against smuggling and illegal infiltration are being conducted.

During the Ratnagiri event on February 14, tribute will be paid to the 40 CRPF personnel martyred in the Pulwama attack in 2019, and the families of four martyrs from Ratnagiri district will be specially honoured. Cultural performances will also be presented by the district cultural troupe, NCC cadets, and CISF teams.
