World’s second-largest ‘Flying Academy’ in Amravati

Major industries such as the Jindal Group are investing in Gadchiroli, which is expected to emerge as India’s Steel Hub within the next five years. After China, the world’s second-largest Flying Academy will be established in Amravati, with an agreement signed with Air India to train 25,000 pilots.

The PM Mitra Park in Amravati will generate two lakh jobs and boost export opportunities, while a mega textile cluster project at Nandgaon Peth has been approved.

In line with Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s resolve to eliminate Naxalism nationwide by March 2026, the Samruddhi Expressway is being extended up to Bhandara, Gadchiroli, and Gondia, with an industrial logistics hub being developed along the corridor. The Wadsa–Desaiganj–Gadchiroli railway line will now extend up to Surjagad, bringing a major transformation in connectivity.

To address irrigation backlog, a provision of ₹2,000 crore has been made. The Wainganga–Nalganga river interlinking project will bring 10 lakh hectares of land in Vidarbha under irrigation. Substantial funds have also been allocated for the Gosekhurd project and for repairs of Malguzari tanks in eastern Vidarbha
