Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis welcomed him with a bouquet

 

Mumbai, Sept 14: The newly appointed Governor of Maharashtra, Acharya Devvrat, along with his wife Darshana Devi, arrived today at Mumbai Central Railway Station. On this occasion, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis welcomed him with a bouquet.

 

Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also welcomed Governor Shri Devvrat. Skill Development Minister and Guardian Minister of Mumbai City District Mangalprabhat Lodha, State Chief Secretary Rajesh Kumar, State Director General of Police Rashmi Shukla, Municipal Commissioner of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation Bhushan Gagrani, Additional Chief Secretary and Chief Protocol Officer Manisha Mhaiskar, Director General of Railway Police Prashant Burude, Secretary to the Governor Prashant Naranware, District Collector of Mumbai City Anchal Goyal, along with other senior officials were present.

 

Governor Shri Devvrat was given a Guard of Honour by the Railway Police Department at Mumbai Central Railway Station.

 

The newly appointed Governor Acharya Devvrat will assume office and take the oath of office on September 15, 2025, at 11 am.
