Dharashiv District Records Highest Rainfall of 42.2 mm in Maharashtra Mumbai, May 30 : In the last 24 hours (up to the morning of May 30), Dharashiv district in Maharashtra recorded the highest rainfall in the state at 42.2 mm. Other districts received the following rainfall: Beed – 24 mm, Jalna – 13.9 mm, Solapur – 12.1 mm, and Sindhudurg – 11.2 mm. Average rainfall (in mm) recorded across various districts of the state from yesterday till this morning (May 30) is as follows: Raigad – 0.3, Ratnagiri – 3.9, Sindhudurg – 11.2, Palghar – 0.1, Nashik – 0.6, Dhule – 0.4, Jalgaon – 0.1, Ahilyanagar – 0.5, Solapur – 12.1, Satara – 1, Sangli – 0.9, Kolhapur – 0.8, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar – 0.6, Jalna – 13.9, Beed – 24, Latur – 5.1, Dharashiv – 42.2, Nanded – 9.3, Parbhani – 3, Hingoli – 0.2, Buldhana – 2.2, Akola – 0.1, Washim – 0.2, Amravati – 3.4, Yavatmal – 6.5, Wardha – 8.7, Nagpur – 1.4, Bhandara – 0.7, Gondia – 3.9, Chandrapur – 1.2, and Gadchiroli – 2.5. In Dharashiv, due to heavy rainfall, traffic routes were temporarily diverted. However, no loss of life has been reported. Landslide Cleared in Amboli Ghat; Traffic Restored A landslide occurred on the Amboli Ghat road in Sindhudurg district. The National Highway and Public Works Department teams swiftly cleared the debris, and traffic has resumed smoothly on this route.
