World-Class Education and Employment Opportunities for Youth
Foreign universities are being brought to Maharashtra through ‘Educity’ to provide the state’s youth with world-class education. Along with improving the standards of universities in the state, efforts are underway to provide modern and cutting-edge education.
Maharashtra has emerged as the country’s ‘Startup Capital,’ attracting the highest levels of investment as well as foreign investment. As a result, large-scale employment opportunities are being created for the youth, the Chief Minister said.
He expressed confidence that ‘Maharashtra is still at the forefront of the country’s progress and will continue to be the biggest contributor to the nation’s progress in the future as well.’
After the flag-hoisting ceremony, Chief Minister Fadnavis met and extended greetings to administrative officers, armed forces officers and invited citizens present at the ceremony. Skill Development Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Textiles Minister Sanjay Savkare, Mumbai Mayor Ritu Tawde, Chief Secretary Rajesh Agrawal, Director General of Police Sadanand Date, Protocol Secretary Rajesh Gawande, Chief Minister’s wife Amruta Fadnavis, heads of various Mantralaya departments, senior officers of the three armed forces, government officers and employees, and invited citizens were present on the occasion.
Following the main flag-hoisting ceremony, Chief Minister Fadnavis paid floral tributes to the portraits of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Rajmata Jijau, Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, Mahatma Jotirao Phule and Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule at Mantralaya.
