Maharashtra Truly India’s ‘Startup Capital’
– Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis
Mumbai, March 9: Maharashtra boasts the highest number of registered startups in India, and notably, 45 percent of these are led by women, which is a matter of pride. Stating that the state is the country’s true ‘Startup Capital’, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis expressed confidence that Maharashtra especially its women entrepreneurs will play a significant role in achieving India’s five-trillion-dollar economy target.
Fadnavis made these remarks at the inauguration of the ‘Innovation Mahakumbh 2025’ at the campus of SNDT Women's University in Juhu. He pointed out that every idea in the minds of the youth is innovation and in the era of startups, everyone has the opportunity to become a new entrepreneur.
