 CM Devendra Fadnavis Reviews Law and Order Ahead of Eid Festivities

Mumbai, June 2: Ahead of the upcoming Eid festival, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis conducted a review meeting to assess the law and order situation not only in Mumbai but across the entire state of Maharashtra.

The review meeting was held at Sahyadri Guest House under the chairmanship of CM Fadnavis. Present at the meeting were Skill Development, Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha; MLAs Aslam Shaikh, Abu Azmi, Amin Patel, Rais Shaikh, and Mrs. Sana Malik; Chief Secretary Sujata Saunik; Additional Chief Secretary of the Home Department Iqbal Singh Chahal; Additional Chief Secretary to the CM Vikas Kharge; BMC Commissioner and Administrator Bhushan Gagrani; Director General of Police Rashmi Shukla; Police Commissioner Deven Bharti, along with senior officials from various departments.

CM Fadnavis noted that Maharashtra has consistently maintained excellent law and order during festivals and public celebrations. He emphasized that similar preparations and coordination should be ensured for the upcoming Eid celebrations. He instructed all concerned departments and agencies to work in close coordination to ensure a peaceful and orderly environment during the festival.

During the meeting, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and Mumbai Police also presented the preventive measures and preparations they have undertaken for the occasion of Eid.
