      Mumbai, July 12: “We have implemented various welfare schemes considering Maharashtra as a family. The government had always thought about the interests of common people. In the last two years, we have taken efforts to include all the constituents like farmers, laborers, women, youth and senior citizens in various public welfare schemes.  I am satisfied that I was instrumental in easing the sufferings of the people of the state. The Sanvidhan Bhavan will be constructed in each taluka of the state on the lines of Bharatratna Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Samajik Nyaay Bhavan,” this was announced by chief minister Mr Eknath Shinde in the state assembly today. He was replying to last week's motion put forth by the opposition.

Chief Minister Mr Eknath Shinde made the following announcements:-

 

·        Veershaiv Kakkaya Arthik Vikas Mahamandal (Finance Development Corporation) and Maharana Pratap Arthik Vikas Mahamandal will be established in the state.

·        Rupees 250 crores will be provided for the area development plan at Shri Mata Mahakali Temple in Chandrapur.

·        Re- development of service quarters for sanitation workers of Mumbai Municipal Corporation. Raise in the displacement Allowances of the sanitation workers.

·        Decision taken to give a stay on levying of rupees 50 per day as late fees in case of delay in renewal of competent certificate of transportation vehicles under 15 years.

·        Airport to be constructed at Palghar

 

          Replying to the motion put 4th by opposition leader Vijay Wadettiwar, Chief Minister Mr Eknath Shinde said that his government has been leading the state on the track of happiness and prosperity in the last two years. He said that we have solved the problems of the people by visiting their door steps and at the same time while resolving various problems, we have tried hard to keep state on top of the table on various fronts in the entire nation, adding that it is a matter of pride that Maharashtra is Numero Uno on various fronts in the nation.

Thought of happy family

      Mr Eknath Shinde said that under the Mukhyamantri- Majhi Ladki Bahin scheme, we are giving rupees 18 thousand each year as the ‘Mahercha Aher”- Gift from parents, adding that we are providing gas cylinders free of charge under the Annapurna scheme. He also said that women in the state are given the facility of travelling with 50 percent concessional tickets and free travelling facilities in the buses of State Transportation to the senior citizens. He said that free electricity supply to farmers has been provided by the government and now the expenses of the entire education of the girl child will be borne by the state government. He said that under the young apprenticeship scheme, 10 lakh educated youth are given the stipend of 10 thousand rupees. The scope of financial assistance given under the Mahatma Phule Jan Arogya Yojana had been raised to 5 lakh from 1.5 lakh. He said that the Tirth Sthal Darshan Yojana had also been brought for the senior citizens, adding that while implementing any scheme, the government is always thinking of the welfare of commoners and how a family will be happy.

Assistance to farmers keeping all conditions aside

      The Chief Minister said that the government had helped the farmers by keeping aside all the norms and conditions. Providing the Crop Insurance for just 1 Rupee to the farmers, 36 thousand crore rupees had been given to farmers under the Kisan Samman Nidhi by the union government and the state. He also said that various welfare schemes to the tune of 44 thousand crore rupees have been implemented in the state for the welfare of the farmers. Mr Shinde said that 123 irrigation projects were accorded approval by the state government which has brought 16 lakh 57 thousand hectares of land under irrigation. He said that financial assistance of rupees 284 crores have been provided under the Mukhyamantri Sahayata Nidhi. The chief minister also said that during his tenure, the state attracted two lakh 39 thousand crores of foreign investment in the state.

‘Best Agriculture State Award’ to Maharashtra

      Chief Minister Mr Shinde further said that if all the schemes implemented for the farmers by the state government are considered, the benefit of 75 thousand 710 crore rupees has been provided to the farmers in the last two years. He said that his government is satisfied that they were able to stand with the farmers in the time of distress. He further said that the Agriculture Leadership Awards Committee has recently declared Maharashtra as the Best Agriculture State’ by taking the note of its admirable work in the agriculture sector

Regained the ‘Industry- Friendly’ identity of the state

      Stating that more investment was attracted towards the state during our tenure, the chief minister said that many Industries came to the state and a large number of employment generation was seen. He said that we have regained the ‘Industry- friendly’ identity of Maharashtra once again. He said that because of the industries coming in the state, the effects are seen with the foreign investment figures going up and as a result, Maharashtra has been leading the chart in the foreign investment.

      He also said that from July 22 till this date, 191 Industries were given the certificates adding that one lakh 71 thousand crore investment was made in the state and 1 lakh 20 thousand employment is going to be generated. The Chief Minister said that Mega leather footwear cluster development, PM Mitra, Multi Modal Logistic Parks are being erected in the state. He said that the Information Technology (IT) policy of the state had been prepared and many people have got jobs due to the New Textile policy of the state government. He also said that the state government has taken the decision to construct Mango- Cashew nut Park in Ratnagiri.

Marathwada water Grid scheme will be a game changer

      He said that unless the label of  Marathwada as the ‘Parched Region’ is cleaned, his government is not going to take rest. The Chief Minister said that Marathwada Water Grid Scheme is going to be proved as the game changer for this region. He said that this scheme was in discussion for many years but now his government has taken the final decision for its implementation. He said that efforts are on to raise necessary funds from global Institutions like Mitra for this scheme and the talks are in the final stage. Mr Shinde said that after receiving the funds, the work of the Water Grid Scheme will be started on war footing.

100 percent concrete roads in Mumbai in two years

      Informing that the total infrastructure work of 8 lakh crores are going on in the state, the Chief Minister said that in coming two years, the hundred percent roads in Mumbai will be made of concrete, adding that the routes of coastal roads had been started till Worli and this road will be connected to Sea link in a span of a month. He said that this Coastal Road of Mumbai will be taken from Virar to Dahanu, adding that a Central Park of global standard is going to be erected on 300 acres of land on Race Course.

No injustice on Maratha, OBC community

      The Chief Minister said that we have given 10 percent reservation to the Maratha community that is within the frame of law. He said that since this decision has been taken, the Maratha community candidates were benefited in education and recruitment to various posts. He said that his government has given appointments on thousand surplus posts. He also said that one lakh recruitment for government jobs were completed in the last two years. He also said that under the Mukhyamantri Yuva Karya Prashikshan Yojana, 10 lakhs youth are provided training every year. He assured that while giving the long lasting and sustainable reservation to Maratha community care will be taken that there is no injustice on other constituents of the society. He said that reservation is not a topic of politics but the government has the honest intention that social harmony should be intact through reservation.
