मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे के निर्देश

             मुंबई : मिल मजदूरों के आवास हेतु प्राप्त आवेदनों की जांच तीन माह के अन्दर पूर्ण की जाये. मुंबई में घर उपलब्ध कराने के लिए घरों की संख्या बढ़ाने और ठाणे, राजगोली, कोन-पनवेल में घरों की तुरंत मरम्मत करने तथा 5 हजार घरों की लॉटरी प्रक्रिया पूरी करने के निर्देश मुख्यमंत्री श्री एकनाथ शिंदे ने दिए. मिल मजदुरों के घरों का प्रश्न कई सालों से प्रलंबित है, इसका हल निकालकर समाधान किए जाने का विश्वास भी इस समय मुख्यमंत्री श्री शिंदे ने दिया.

                 सह्याद्री अतिथीगृह में मिल मजदूरों के प्रश्नों के संदर्भ में हुई बैठक में मुख्यमंत्री श्री शिंदे बोल रहे थे. इस अवसर पर मुंबई शहर के पालक मंत्री दीपक केसरकर, मुंबई उपनगर के पालक मंत्री मंगलप्रभात लोढ़ा, सांसद धैर्यशील माने, सांसद राहुल शेवाले, विधायक सर्वश्री कालिदास कोलंबकर, सदा सरवणकर, प्रकाश सुर्वे, अतुल भातखलकर, सुनील राणे, प्रकाश अबिटकर, मंगेश कुडालकर, प्रकाश आवाडे, पूर्व विधायक नरसैया आड़म उपस्थित थे. इस समय मुख्य सचिव मनोज सौनिक, राजस्व विभाग के अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव राजगोपाल देवड़ा, गृहनिर्माण विभाग के अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव वल्सा नायर, शहरी विकास विभाग के प्रमुख सचिव असीम गुप्ता, गोविंदराज, एमएमआरडीए के मुख्य योजनाकार मोहन सोनार और विभिन्न अधिकारी मिल श्रमिकों के संघटन के पदाधिकारी उपस्थित थे.

             मुख्यमंत्री श्री शिंदे इस अवसर पर कहा कि सरकार का प्रामाणिक उद्देश्य है कि मिल मजदूरों और उनके उत्तराधिकारियों को उनके हक का घर मिलना चाहिए. इसके लिए प्रक्रिया तेज कर दी गई है और पिछले कुछ महीनों में दो चरणों में मिल श्रमिकों को फ्लैटों की चाबियां बांट दी गई हैं. मिल मजदूरों के साथ साथ, उनके उत्तराधिकारियों ने अब तक म्हाडा के पास लगभग 1 लाख 74 हजार आवेदन दायर किए हैं. इनकी स्क्रूटनी प्रक्रिया में तेजी लाने का निर्देश दिया गया है और इस स्क्रूटनी प्रक्रिया को तीन महीने के अंदर पूरा करने का निर्देश दिया गया है. अत: पात्र-अपात्र की संख्या निर्धारित की जा सकेगी, ऐसा मुख्यमंत्री श्री शिंदे ने बताया.

             मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि कोन-पनवेल में घरों की मरम्मत तुरंत पूरी की जानी चाहिए, और ठाणे राजगोली में फ्लैटों की मरम्मत एमएमआरडीए द्वारा तुरंत की जानी चाहिए, ताकि वहां पांच हजार घरों की लॉटरी निकाली जा सके. मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि कोन-पनवेल में मकानों की लॉटरी प्रक्रिया पूरी कर दशहरा तक फ्लैटों की चाबियां कर्मचारियों को दे दी जाएं.

             इस समय मुंबई महापालिका के अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए गए कि मुंबई में 'टेक्सटाइल मिल' संग्रहालय का काम तुरंत शुरू किया जाए. मुख्यमंत्री ने निर्देश दिया कि यहां पर मिल श्रमिकों के बेटे-बेटियों को काम देने का प्रयास करें.

             जिले के कलेक्टर ने बताया है कि मुंबई महानगरीय क्षेत्र में मिल श्रमिकों को घर उपलब्ध कराने के लिए कल्याण तालुका में लगभग 21 हेक्टेयर भूमि उपलब्ध है और मुख्यमंत्री ने प्रस्ताव को तुरंत कैबिनेट में प्रस्तुत करने के निर्देश दिए हैं.

             इस अवसर पर प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना के माध्यम से मिल श्रमिकों को आवास उपलब्ध कराने के विकल्प के संबंध में एक प्रस्तुतीकरण दिया गया. साथ ही सोलापुर, नागपुर, कोल्हापुर, सतारा के मूल निवासी मिल मजदूरों को उनकी इच्छा के मुताबिक मुंबई से बाहर घर देने को लेकर भी चर्चा हुई.

              पिछले कुछ महीनों में मिल श्रमिकों को आवास उपलब्ध कराने हेतु की जा रही त्वरित कार्यवाही के लिए उपस्थित जन प्रतिनिधियों एवं मिल मजदूर संगठनों के प्रतिनिधियों ने मुख्यमंत्री को धन्यवाद दिया.

Complete scrutiny of mill workers’ applications for homes in three months

- CM Eknath Shinde issues directive

 

            Mumbai, Aug 21: Issuing the directives for early completion of scrutiny of applications received for homes by the mill workers in three months; increasing the number of houses so that they can be allotted in Mumbai and repairs of houses in Thane and Rajgoli, Kon-Panvel at the earliest and complete the process of lottery for five thousand houses, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde assured that the long pending issue of houses for mill workers is being streamlined.

            He was speaking at the meeting held today at Sahayadri Guest House regarding the issues of mill workers. Mumbai City Guardian Minister Dipak Kesarkar, Guardian Minister of Mumbai Suburbs Mangal Prabhat Lodha, MP Dhairsheel Mane, Rahul SHewale, MLAs Kalidas Kolambkar, Sada Sarvankar, Prakash Surve, Atul Bhatkhalkar, Sunil Rane, Prakash Abitkar, Mangesh Kudalkar, Prakash Awade, former MLA Narsayya Adam, Chief Secretary Manoj Sounik, Additional Principal Secretary of Revenue Department Rajgopal Deora, Additional Principal Secretary of Housing Development Department Valsa Nair, Principal Secretary of Urban Development Department Asim Gupta, Govindraj, Chief Planner of MMRDA Mohan Sonar and office-bearers of various organizations of mill workers were present at the meeting.

            Speaking on this occasion Chief Minister Shinde said that it is the honest sincere view of the government that mill workers and their heirs should get their rightful houses. To facilitate this, the government has accelerated the process of execution. In the last some months, mill workers have been given the keys to their houses in two phases. So far, 1.74 lakh applications from mill workers or their heirs have been received by MHADA. Directions are issued to speed up their scrutiny process and complete this work in three months. This will help to decide the number of those eligible applicants.

            The Chief Minister also directed to expedite the repairs of houses located at Kon-Panvel and MMRDA should take up the repair work of houses located at Thane Rajgoli so that lottery for five thousand houses located there can be organized, Shinde added. He further said that the lottery process of houses at Kon-Panvel should be completed and keys to the flats should be handed over to the workers by Dasara.

            Mumbai Corporation officers were directed to immediately start the work of the Textile Mill Museum in Mumbai. The Chief Minister also issued directives to provide jobs to the wards of mill workers here.

            District Collector has intimated that 21 ha of land is available in Kalyan Taluka for providing houses to mill workers in MMRDA. The Chief Minister issued directives to submit the proposal regarding this before the cabinet at the earliest.

            A presentation was made regarding the option of providing houses to mill workers through the PM Awas Yojana (PMAY). Besides, the discussion was also held on the proposal to provide houses to original inhabitants of Solapur, Nagpur, Kolhapur, and Satara outside Mumbai as per their requests.

            Those public representatives and representatives of the mill workers’ unions who attended the meeting, expressed satisfaction over the speedy process of allotment of houses to mill workers and t

hanked the Chief Minister for the same.
