The State Government Stands by the Farmers -Chief Minister.

Pune; 21: Since farmers are food providers, the priority of the government will be to solve the problems of farmers. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde asserted that the government will support farmers for 900 harvesters to overcome the shortage of harvesters in the state.

Chief Minister Mr. Shinde said, the government has always supported the sugar factories. The government will act to solve the problems in the future as well. As lakhs of farmers are dependent on sugar industry, it is necessary for this industry not only to grow but to survive also. The government has tried to solve the basic problems of the farmers along with the sugar industry.

Addressing farmers' issues, 18 irrigation projects are ready to be launched for farmers, which will bring more than two and a half lakh hectares of land under irrigation. 2.5 thousand crore rupees were deposited in the accounts of 7 lakh 19 thousand farmers as an incentive subsidy of 50 thousand rupees to the farmers paying regular loans. 1 thousand 700 crores are also being distributed to 7 lakh 20 thousand farmers. Enhenced assistance is also being given to the farmers affected by heavy rains. Jalyukta Shivar Yojana has been effectively launched.

It is Necessary to Promote Research in the Agriculture Sector

After the textile industry, the sugar industry ranks first among the industries that process agricultural products. This industry has a great contribution in the development of rural areas. With the help of new updated technology, VSI is helping to produce more at less cost. Research, development, training and expansion are the objectives of the institute. The co-operative sector is being benefited as VSI conducts research on how to modernize various stages from sugarcane production to sugar production techniques. In order to move ahead in the global competition, new and updated technology has to be used. If agricultural research is boosted, the progress of the state will also be boosted.

Government Incentives for Ethanol Production

In the current season, 508 lakh MT of sugarcane has been refined and 47 lakh MT of sugar has been refined. It is a matter of pride that Maharashtra ranks third in sugar production in the world. Last year 137.20 lakh MT of sugar was produced in the state. 12.6 lakh MT of sugar has been used for the production of ethanol. Government policy is there to promote ethanol. This is reviving the sugar mills. 106 factories have started ethanol production. The Chief Minister expressed hope that there will be a large amount of ethanol production in the current season as well.

 Area of ​​orchards should also be increased along with sugarcane

Increasing production of sugarcane, sugarcane without silt are the challenges before the sugar mills. Therefore, although sugarcane is a good option in the cooperative sector, efforts should be made to increase income. As there is surplus production of sugar in the state, the factories should focus on managing sugar export and sale of sugar to other states which are producing less sugar. Along with sugarcane production, farmers should also increase sowing of Kharif cotton-soybeans. It is necessary trying to increase the orchard area. The state government is trying to increase the use of drip irrigation for sugarcane crop. So it will be possible to provide sugarcane as required by sugar mills in less area and less water. In this regard, the work of VSI is important, said Mr. Shinde. 

Chief Minister Mr. Shinde appealed to the sugar factories to increase such activities and projects by stating that sugar factories have maintained social commitment during the calamity without focusing only on profit and loss.

अन्नदाता किसानों के पीछे मजबूती से खड़ी है राज्य सरकार-मुख्यमंत्री

पुणे, दिनांक 21: किसान अन्नदाता है, इस कारण किसानों की समस्या दूर करना सरकार की प्राथमिकता रहेगी। राज्य में हार्वेस्टर की कमी को दूर करने के लिए 900 हार्वेस्टर के लिए सरकार किसानों को सहयोग करेगी, यह बातें मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे ने कही है।

मुख्यमंत्री श्री शिंदे ने कहा, सरकार ने हमेशा से शुगर (चीनी) मिलो का समर्थन किया है। सरकार भविष्य में भी आने वाली दिक्कतों को दूर करने का काम करेगी। चूंकि लाखों किसान चीनी उद्योग पर निर्भर हैं, इसलिए इस उद्योग को बढ़ाने और अस्तित्व में बनाए रखने (जीवित रखने) के लिए यह आवश्यक है। सरकार ने चीनी उद्योग के साथ-साथ किसानों की अन्य मूलभूत समस्याओं को सुलझाने का प्रयास किया है।

किसानों की समस्याओं का समाधान करते हुए किसानों के लिए 18 सिंचाई परियोजनाओं का शुभारंभ किया जा रहा है, जिससे ढाई लाख हेक्टेयर से ज्यादा भूमि सिंचित क्षेत्र में आ जाएगी। नियमित कर्ज अदा करने वाले किसानों को 50 हजार रुपये प्रोत्साहन अनुदान के रूप में दिया गया है। 7 लाख 19 हजार किसानों के खाते में प्रोत्साहन अनुदान के रूप में ढाई हजार करोड़ रुपये जमा किये गये हैं। 7 लाख 20 हजार किसानों को 1 हजार 700 करोड़ का वितरण भी किया जा रहा है। भारी बारिश से प्रभावित किसानों को भी बढ़ाकर मदद दिया जा रहा है। जलयुक्त शिवार योजना भी प्रभावी ढंग से शुरू की गई है।

कृषि क्षेत्र में अनुसंधान को बढ़ावा देना है जरूरी

कृषि उत्पादों का प्रसंस्करण (प्रोसेसिंग) करने वाले उद्योगों में कपड़ा उद्योग के बाद चीनी उद्योग का स्थान आता है। ग्रामीण भागों के विकास में इस उद्योग का बहुत बड़ा योगदान है। नई अद्यतन (एडवांस) तकनीक की मदद से वसंतदादा शुगर इंस्टीट्यूट (वीएसआई) कम लागत में अधिक उत्पादन करने में मदद कर रहा है। अनुसंधान, विकास, प्रशिक्षण और विस्तार यह इंस्टीट्यूट (संस्थान) का उद्देश्य हैं।

गन्ने के उत्पादन से लेकर चीनी बनाने की तकनीकों तक के विभिन्न चरणों का आधुनिकरण कैसे किया जा सकता है, इस बाबत वीएसआई शोध कर रहा है। इससे सहकारी क्षेत्र को फायदा हो रहा है। वैश्विक प्रतिस्पर्धा में आगे बढ़ने के लिए नई और अद्यतन तकनीक का उपयोग करना होगा। अगर कृषि अनुसंधान को बढ़ावा दिया जाएगा तो राज्य की प्रगति को गति मिलेगी।

इथेनॉल उत्पादन के लिए सरकार का प्रोत्साहन

 

चालू क्रशिंग सीजन में 508 लाख मीट्रिक टन गन्ना का क्रशिंग (पेराई) हो चुका है, वहीं 47 लाख मीट्रिक टन चीनी का भी क्रशिंग किया गया है। महाराष्ट्र का चीनी उत्पादन में विश्व में तीसरा स्थान है। यह गर्व करने वाली बात है। पिछले साल राज्य में 137.20 लाख मीट्रिक टन चीनी का उत्पादन हुआ था। 12.6 लाख मीट्रिक टन चीनी का उपयोग इथेनॉल के उत्पादन के लिए किया गया है। इथेनॉल को बढ़ावा देने के लिए सरकार की नीति है। इससे चीनी मिलों को नई संजीवनी मिल रही हैं। 106 चीनी मिलों ने इथेनॉल उत्पादन शुरू कर दिया है। मुख्यमंत्री ने उम्मीद जताई कि चालू सीजन में भी बड़ी मात्रा में इथेनॉल का उत्पादन होगा।

गन्ने के साथ फल-बागों का भी बढ़ाया जाए क्षेत्रफल

गन्ने का बढ़ता उत्पादन, बिना क्रशिंग के बचे हुए गन्ने चीनी मिलों के सामने चुनौतियां हैं। इसलिए सहकारी क्षेत्र में गन्ना एक अच्छा विकल्प होते हुए भी आय बढ़ाने के लिए प्रयास किए जाने चाहिए। राज्य में चीनी का अधिक उत्पादन होता है, इसलिए चीनी मिलों को चीनी निर्यात और चीनी का कम उत्पादन करने वाले अन्य राज्यों को चीनी की बिक्री के प्रबंधन पर ध्यान देना चाहिए। किसानों को गन्ना उत्पादन के साथ-साथ खरीफ की फसल कपास-सोयाबीन की बुआई भी बढ़ानी चाहिए। फल-बाग का क्षेत्रफल बढ़ाने के लिए भी प्रयास करने की जरूरत है। राज्य सरकार गन्ने की फसल के लिए ड्रिप सिंचाई का उपयोग बढ़ाने का प्रयास कर रही है। इससे चीनी मिलों को आवश्यक गन्ना कम क्षेत्र और कम पानी में उपलब्ध हो सकेगा। श्री शिंदे ने कहा कि इस संबंध में वीएसआई का काम महत्वपूर्ण है।

मुख्यमंत्री श्री शिंदे ने कहा कि चीनी मिलों ने आपदा के दौरान केवल लाभ-हानि पर ध्यान न देकर सामाजिक प्रतिबद्धता बनाए रखी है। मुख्यमंत्री ने चीनी मिलों से इस तरह के उपक्रम को बढ़ाने की गुहार लगाई है।
