Tour Circuit Organized for Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar's

Birth Anniversary

Mumbai, April 12: To commemorate the 134th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, the Directorate of Tourism under the state government is organizing a tour circuit on April 14 and 15, 2025. The initiative aims to spread awareness about his great contributions and life among citizens from all walks of life. The tour will cover important sites related to Dr. Ambedkar in Mumbai, Nashik, and Nagpur. Tourism Minister Shambhuraj Desai announced that these tours will be offered free of charge for citizens and tourists.

The Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Tour Circuit will include sites such as Chaityabhumi in Dadar, Rajgruha, the Printing Press, B.I.T. Chawl in Parel, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar College in Wadala, and Siddharth College in Fort, Mumbai. In Nashik, the tour will cover Yevle Mukti Bhoomi, Trirashmi Caves, and Kalaram Temple. In Nagpur, the sites will include Dikshabhumi, the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Museum, Dragon Palace in Kamthi, and Naglok Vihar. This tour circuit is a government effort to convey the significance of Dr. Ambedkar’s inspiring life and his contributions to social equality, education, and the constitution to the general public and tourists. All citizens and tourists are invited to participate in this initiative.
