Noting that nearly 65 percent of India’s GDP is generated around urban centers, CM Fadnavis said Prime Minister Modi transformed India’s approach to urban development through initiatives such as Smart Cities, AMRUT, Swachh Bharat, and large-scale investments in urban infrastructure and institutions.
