Principal Secretary and Director General of the Directorate General of Information and Public Relations, Brijesh Singh, underlined that cyber security is not just the responsibility of organizations but of every citizen. To prevent what he termed ‘cyber covid’, every individual must practice cyber hygiene.
“In the era of AI, data is the most valuable resource. Therefore, it is essential to protect personal data, avoid over-sharing, refrain from disclosing excessive information on social media, and remain alert to algorithms like ‘GeoSpy’,” Singh advised.
The program also saw the participation of SEBI Executive Director Avinash Pandey, representatives from various industries, and senior government officials.
