Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis Outlines Maharashtra’s Development Roadmap in Interview Priority to Industrial and Sustainable Development through Efficient Governance : CM Devendra Fadnavis Determined to Accelerate Nashik’s Growth Nashik, March 23: Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis emphasized that the development process should not be limited to just one part of the state but should focus on the overall growth of Maharashtra. He presented a roadmap for Maharashtra’s development before new entrepreneurs at a session organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Young Indians Nashik Chapter and the Western Region Council. He also expressed his determination to boost Nashik’s development. The three-day meeting of the CII Young Indians Nashik Chapter’s Western Region Council concluded with a special interaction session with Chief Minister Fadnavis. CII National President Tarang Khurana and News18 anchor Anand Narasimhan conducted the discussion. The event was attended by MLAs Seema Hire and Devyani Farande, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Pravin Gedam, Special Inspector General of Police Dattatray Karale, Police Commissioner Sandeep Karnik, Municipal Commissioner Manisha Khatri, and Zilla Parishad CEO Ashima Mittal, along with industrialists Deepak Chande (Deepak Builders), Krunal Shah (Western Region President of Young Indians), Vedant Rathi, Janak Sarda (Founder President of Young Indians Nashik Chapter), Harsh Devdhar (Nashik Chapter President), Parul Dhadi, and Bhavik Thakkar. During the session, CM Fadnavis answered various questions openly and clearly defined the state’s development direction. He stated that efficient administration and effective implementation of decisions are key to accelerating growth. He also assured Nashik residents of upcoming developmental projects related to the Kumbh Mela. Nashik Has Huge Potential for Industrial Development The Chief Minister highlighted Nashik’s significant potential for industrial growth due to its skilled workforce and favorable climate. He pointed out that the city offers great opportunities for both tourism and industrial expansion. Nashik also benefits from the presence of the defense ecosystem due to HAL. While Mumbai’s economic growth has benefited cities like Pune and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, the Samruddhi Mahamarg will now accelerate Nashik’s development. He also announced the construction of a Greenfield Road from Nashik to Vadhavan, where India’s largest port is being developed. This will provide a major boost to Nashik’s economy.
