Water Resources and Development Projects

 Water Resources and Development Projects

On water resource management, the Chief Minister said the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has provided ₹2,400 crore for the Nag River Rejuvenation Project, under which new sewage treatment plants, sewerage networks and pumping stations are being constructed.

He also said the government is making efforts to commence work on the Nalganga–Wainganga River Linking Project this year immediately after receiving final approval from the Central Water Commission.

Concluding his reply, the Chief Minister assured the House that all issues raised during the discussion are being thoroughly investigated and appropriate action will be taken wherever necessary. He reiterated that the government's highest priorities remain development, farmers' welfare, law and order, and citizens' safety.

At the close of the Assembly session, CM Fadnavis said, "Farmers, Warkaris and hardworking people are Maharashtra's true wealth. It is through their labour, devotion and sacrifice that the State progresses. With their blessings, the government will continue to shape a more innovative and stronger Maharashtra."
