Relief for Poor Patients During Surgeries
Strengthening Public Healthcare Services
Accuracy and safety of surgeries to improve
Mumbai, May 24 : A significant step has been taken to strengthen the state’s public healthcare system and ensure quality treatment for the common people. Advanced high-end Vessel Sealer devices have been made available at Seth G. S. Medical College and KEM Hospital, which is expected to substantially improve the quality of surgical procedures.
This initiative, implemented under the leadership of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, will provide access to advanced medical treatment for economically weaker sections. Under this CSR project, two advanced electrosurgical units have been installed in the General Surgery Department at the Elective Surgery OT, Jamshedji Mehta Surgical Complex.
KEM Hospital is one of Mumbai’s largest public healthcare institutions, catering to thousands of needy patients every day. In such a scenario, the need for advanced medical equipment was critical. The newly installed devices will help control bleeding during surgeries by sealing blood vessels quickly and effectively. This will enhance surgical precision, reduce complications, and significantly improve patient safety.
