Work is simultaneously underway on three levels—on the ground, in the air, and underground—to improve transportation in Pune. Two ring road projects are being implemented for Pune and its surrounding areas. The metro network is expanding rapidly, and public transport services such as Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) are being strengthened to make commuting more efficient, he said.
