Through this initiative, CISF seeks to instil a sense of national security among coastal communities, strengthen coordination between citizens and CISF, sensitise youth to the dangers of drug abuse, and highlight CISF’s 51 years of experience in port security.
Established in 1969, CISF has over the past 57 years provided robust security to several strategically vital installations across the country, including refineries, airports, ports, metro rail networks, nuclear power plants, and space centres. Beyond security duties, CISF continues to uphold its commitment to national service through public awareness drives, social initiatives, and community safety programmes.
