CISF to Organise ‘Vande Mataram Coastal Cyclothon–2026’ in Ratnagiri

Mega initiative on February 14 to promote coastal security awareness

Mumbai, Feb 4:Marking its 57 years of distinguished service in safeguarding the nation’s critical infrastructure, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) will organise the ‘Vande Mataram Coastal Cyclothon–2026’ on February 14, 2026, at the Police Ground in Ratnagiri. The event will be flagged off by Maharashtra’s Minister for Industries and Marathi Language, Dr Uday Samant.

The cyclothon aims to raise public awareness about coastal and maritime security, while also promoting national integration, physical fitness, environmental conservation, and women empowerment. Notably, 50 per cent of the participants in this campaign are women.
