 Chief Minister Fadnavis said that due to rapid urbanization, resolving traffic congestion has become a priority for the government. He directed officials to undertake necessary measures to address traffic bottlenecks on the Hadapsar–Yavat stretch in Pune district. While doing so, it must be ensured that citizens face no inconvenience. He instructed that the road be upgraded and an elevated highway be constructed, along with immediate measures to tackle congestion at Bhairoba Nala.He further directed that all ongoing and proposed infrastructure projects in the state must obtain approval from the Gati Shakti Portal. Only after receiving this approval should projects be placed before the committee.
