Winter Session of Maharashtra Legislature to be held in Nagpur from December 8 to 14
• Decision taken in the meetings of Business Advisory Committees of Assembly and Council
Mumbai, Dec 3:The Winter Session of the Maharashtra Legislature will be held in Nagpur from Monday, December 8 to Sunday, December 14, 2025. The Business Advisory Committee has decided that proceedings of both Houses will also be conducted on December 13 (Saturday) and December 14 (Sunday), despite being government holidays.
A meeting of the Legislature’s Business Advisory Committee was held at the Vidhan Bhavan. The meeting was attended by Legislative Council Chairman Prof. Ram Shinde, Assembly Speaker Adv. Rahul Narwekar, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, Legislative Council Deputy Chairperson Dr. Neelam Gorhe, Assembly Deputy Speaker Anna Bansode, Higher and Technical Education & Parliamentary Affairs Minister Chandrakant Patil, Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Water Resources Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil, Cultural Affairs Minister Adv. Ashish Shelar, MLAs Sudhir Mungantiwar, Deepak Kesarkar, Jitendra Awhad, Bhaskar Jadhav, Sunil Prabhu, Amin Patel; MLCs Anil Parab, Prasad Lad, Praveen Darekar, Vikram Kale, Satej Patil; Legislature Secretary Jitendra Bhole and senior officials.
During the Amrit Mahotsav commemorating the glorious journey of the Constitution of India, a discussion was held in the Legislative Assembly on March 26, 2025. Responding to the discussion, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis delivered an important address. The Maharashtra Legislature’s V.S. Pange Parliamentary Training Centre has compiled this speech in the form of a book. Assembly Speaker Adv. Rahul Narwekar informed that this book will be released by Governor Acharya Devvrat on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
