Malvani Redevelopment Scheme – At a Glance
The total land area of the Malvani region is 641 acres, which includes land owned by the State Government, MHADA, the Municipal Corporation, and private owners.
Out of this, 565.98 acres are under slums, while 75.02 acres are open land. The estimated number of slum dwellings in the area is around 14,000. After redevelopment, the area will become slum-free.
