Mumbai, December 17: Erecting the statue of Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar at the headquarters of UNESCO is a matter of pride, a historic milestone, and an event of global significance, said Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Dr. Ambedkar is recognized worldwide as the chief architect of the Indian Constitution and as a global advocate of social justice, equality, fraternity, and human rights. With the noble objective of spreading Babasaheb’s message that education is the path to success across the world, the statue of Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar was presented to UNESCO as a gift, the Chief Minister stated.
