National SC-ST Hub
The National SC-ST Hub, operated under the MSME Ministry, aims to empower entrepreneurs from SC and ST communities by enabling them to avail benefits of government schemes, procurement policies, and market opportunities. The scheme provides access to government support, loans, training, and subsidies. Additionally, when market demand is low, the government purchases their produced goods. So far, products worth ₹3,500 crore have been procured by the government under this initiative, the Minister informed.
The MSME department also extends support in tools and technology sectors, with active units in Mumbai and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. A total of 22,440 unemployed individuals have been trained under this initiative. By 2029, the department aims to train and provide employment-oriented support to 10 crore individuals, Mr. Manjhi added.
