Guardian Minister Prakash Abitkar said that the pilgrimage development master plan is a matter of immense pride and happiness for the people of Kolhapur. He expressed confidence that the project would create world-class facilities for devotees and urged the Central Government to accelerate other infrastructure projects across Maharashtra.
Earlier, the organisers felicitated Union Home Minister Amit Shah by presenting him with an idol of Goddess Mahalakshmi and a ceremonial sword. Following his address, Guardian Minister Prakash Abitkar and Mayor Ruparani Nikam presented the temple development master plan to the Union Home Minister. MP Dhananjay Mahadik delivered the introductory remarks, while Minister for Medical Education Hasan Mushrif proposed the vote of thanks. The event witnessed a large public turnout, with elaborate security arrangements made by the police.
