 Boost to Employment and Skill Development

Under the employability programme, 6,598 youth have received skill development and employment training, of whom 63 per cent have secured jobs. Employment opportunities have been created in sectors such as electric vehicles, the automobile industry, artificial intelligence, electronics, banking, and entrepreneurship. The average annual income of beneficiaries has been recorded at ₹1.66 lakh. Women constitute 61 per cent of the beneficiaries under this programme, and special financial assistance has been provided to women entrepreneurs in rural areas. In addition, 758 women micro-entrepreneurs have also received support.
