श्रीमती मुंडे म्हणाल्या की, पर्यावरणाचे संवर्धन हा एक महत्त्वाकांक्षी विषय असून आपण सर्वांनीच  पर्यावरणाच्या संवर्धनाची आवड जोपासणे आवश्यक आहे. शासकीय व खासगी कार्यालयात सर्व कामकाजात कागद मोठ्या प्रमाणात वापरला जातो, म्हणून पर्यावरण संवर्धनासाठी आपण सर्वप्रथम  मंत्रालयातील कामकाज कागद विरहित करून आपले पहिले पाऊल उचलूया. पर्यावरणाबद्दलची ही जनजागृती आपल्याला संपूर्ण महाराष्ट्रभर पसरवायची आहे. इतरांना जागृत करण्यासाठी सर्वप्रथम आपण जागरूक राहायला हवे. 

पेपर व प्लास्टिकचा वापर  टाळायला हवा. प्लास्टिकच्या पिशवी ऐवजी कापडी पिशवी वापरात आणावी. प्लास्टिकला नो व पर्यावरणाला हो म्हणून आज पासून पर्यावरण संवर्धनाची शपथ घेण्याचे आवाहन मंत्री श्रीमती मुंडे यांनी केले.

मुंबई, दि. ५ : राज्यातील खाणपट्ट्यांच्या सर्वेक्षणासाठी महसूल विभागाने अत्याधुनिक तंत्रज्ञानाचा वापर करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला असून सर्वेक्षणासाठी आता ड्रोनचा वापर करण्यात येणार आहे. यासाठी प्रायोगिक तत्त्वावर निविदा प्रक्रिया राबवण्याचे निर्देश महसूल मंत्री चंद्रशेखर बावनकुळे यांनी दिले आहेत. अवैध गौण खनिज उत्खननाला चाप लावण्यासाठी हे महत्त्वपूर्ण पाऊल ठरणार आहे.

पुणे येथील गौण खनिज खाणपट्ट्यांच्या ड्रोनद्वारे मोजणीसंदर्भात महसूल मंत्री चंद्रशेखर बावनकुळे यांच्या मंत्रालयातील दालनात बैठकीचे आयोजन करण्यात आले. या बैठकीला महसूल विभागाचे उपसचिव संजय धारूरकर आणि पुण्याचे अप्पर जिल्हाधिकारी दूरदृश्य प्रणालीद्वारे उपस्थित होते. बैठकीत ड्रोन तंत्रज्ञानाच्या वापराद्वारे खाणपट्ट्यांचे अचूक सर्वेक्षण करण्यावर चर्चा झाली.

येत्या तीन महिन्यांत राज्यातील सर्व खाणपट्ट्यांची मोजणी पूर्ण करण्याचे उद्दिष्ट ठेवण्यात आले आहे. या उपक्रमामुळे कृत्रिम वाळू निर्मिती प्रकल्पाला देखील गती मिळणार आहे. या सर्वेक्षणातून मिळणारी माहिती दर तीन महिन्यांनी जिल्हाधिकाऱ्यांना सादर करावी लागेल आणि ती तातडीने ‘महाखनिज’ संकेतस्थळावर अपलोड केली जाईल. अशी माहिती यावेळी देण्यात आली.

पारंपरिक मोजणीतील त्रुटी कमी होणार

पारंपरिक पद्धतीने केल्या जाणाऱ्या जमीन मोजणीत अनेक त्रुटी राहतात, ज्यामुळे अवैध खननाला आळा घालण्यात अडथळे येतात. यावर तोडगा म्हणून प्रायोगिक तत्त्वावर ड्रोनद्वारे केलेल्या सर्वेक्षणात उल्लेखनीय अचूकता आढळली आहे. या यशस्वी चाचणीनंतर, गौण खनिज उत्खनन होणाऱ्या सर्व खाणींचे ड्रोनद्वारे सर्वेक्षण करण्याचा निर्णय घेण्यात आला आहे. यासाठी मोजणी पद्धती निश्चित करणे, सर्वंकष निकष तयार करणे, खर्चाची तरतूद करणे आणि पारदर्शक निविदा प्रक्रिया राबवणे यावर भर देण्यात येणार आहे. ड्रोन तंत्रज्ञानाद्वारे सर्वेक्षण केल्यास खाणपट्ट्यांमधील पूर्वीचे खोदकाम, चालू खोदकाम, भविष्यातील खोदकामाची शक्यता आणि उपलब्ध दगड खाणींची सविस्तर माहिती मिळणार आहे.

दगड, मुरूम आणि वाळू यांसारख्या गौण खनिजांचे उत्खनन आणि रॉयल्टी संकलनावर लक्ष ठेवण्यासाठी ड्रोन तंत्रज्ञानाचा वापर हे एक महत्त्वपूर्ण पाऊल ठरणार आहे. यामुळे अवैध खननाला आळा घालण्याबरोबरच खनिज व्यवस्थापनात पारदर्शकता येईल आणि कार्यक्षमता वाढेल, असा विश्वास महसूल मंत्री चंद्रशेखर बावनकुळे यांनी व्यक्त केला आहे.

 India’s First Underwater Warship Museum Project Inaugurated Virtually by CM Devendra Fadnavis in Sindhudurg

Mumbai, June 10 : A retired Indian Navy warship, INS Guldar, is set to be transformed into India’s first underwater museum, complete with an artificial reef. The project is being developed near Nivati Rock in Vengurla taluka of Sindhudurg district. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated the initiative virtually. Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, Women and Child Development Minister Aditi Tatkare, Tourism Minister Shambhuraj Desai, Fisheries Minister Nitesh Rane, Chief Secretary Sujata Saunik, and other cabinet members were present.

This pioneering initiative in India is expected to boost marine conservation and tourism. The ship will be submerged to create an artificial coral reef around it, enabling scuba diving and submarine tourism in the future. In a historic move, the central government has handed over the decommissioned warship INS Guldar to the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) for this purpose. Similar projects exist in several countries worldwide.

The ship was handed over to MTDC free of cost with the approval of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.

MTDC Managing Director Manoj Kumar Suryavanshi, General Manager Chandrashekhar Jaiswal, Sindhudurg Collector Anil Patil, Zilla Parishad CEO Manik Dive, and Superintendent of Police Mohan Dahikar participated via video conferencing.

About INS Guldar : The ship weighs 1,120 tons, is 83.9 meters long, 9.7 meters wide, and 5.2 meters deep. It was decommissioned on January 12, 2024. Under the Centre’s “Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (Part-3)” scheme, the Union Ministry of Tourism approved ₹46.91 crore on December 27, 2024, for converting INS Guldar into an underwater museum and artificial reef near Nivati Rock.

Following a request from MTDC, the Indian Navy transported the ship from Port Blair, Andaman to the Karwar Naval Base, Karnataka at its own expense, thereby saving costs for the Maharashtra government.

Project Implementation Timeline:

• February 22, 2024: MTDC officially took possession of the ship from the Indian Navy at Karwar.
• March 16, 2025: The ship was successfully towed to the Maharashtra Maritime Board jetty at Vijaydurg in Sindhudurg district.
• Environmental Cleaning: A designated agency completed the eco-friendly cleaning of the vessel on April 15, 2025.
• Deployment in the Sea: Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd. has been assigned the task of scuttling (sinking) the ship at its designated site near Nivati Rock (Latitude: 15°56.138’N, Longitude: 73°22.601’E) when weather conditions permit.

Once submerged, the surrounding area will develop artificial coral reefs, allowing tourists to explore the ship through scuba diving and, in the future, via submarine tourism.

Listing Ceremony of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation’s Green Bonds Held at Bombay Stock Exchange

Mumbai, June 10 : Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today announced that Pimpri-Chinchwad has become the first municipal corporation in India to raise funds through the capital market by issuing green bonds, thus setting a national precedent. He emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has consistently urged municipal corporations to become financially self-reliant, and this initiative by the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) is a commendable response to that vision.

The listing ceremony of the PCMC’s green bonds was held at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) International Convention Hall. The event was graced by Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, MLAs Mahesh Landge, Shankar Jagtap, Amit Gorkhe, Uma Khapre, Chief Secretary Sujata Saunik, Mumbai Municipal Commissioner Bhushan Gagrani, PCMC Commissioner Shekhar Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Asim Gupta, Principal Secretary Dr. K. Govindaraj, and BSE MD Sundaram Ramamurthy.

Speaking at the event, CM Fadnavis stated that the green bonds issued by PCMC received an overwhelming response from investors. Within minutes of issuance, investments worth ₹100 crore were made, and the demand surged to over five times the issued amount, garnering total bids worth ₹513 crore. The bonds have a five-year maturity with a competitive interest rate of 7.85%, reflecting strong investor confidence in green infrastructure.

He added that listing bonds on the share market involves a complex regulatory process, requiring compliance with corporate conditions, which the corporation successfully fulfilled. The funds raised will be used for sustainable and eco-friendly infrastructure development, including the Green Setu Project in Nigdi Pradhikaran and the Telco Road Project from Gawalimatha to Indrayani Nagar Chowk.

The Central Government has also awarded an incentive grant of ₹20 crore to the municipal corporation for successfully issuing green bonds. CM Fadnavis congratulated the entire PCMC team for this achievement.

Mumbai 10 : The Ambassador of the Republic of Portugal in India João Manuel Mendes Ribeiro de Almeida met the Governor of Maharashtra C. P. Radhakrishnan at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on Mon (9 Jun). This was a courtesy call. Honorary Consul of Portugal in Mumbai Somesh Batra was also present.

Stating that Portugal and India share a historical relationship, the Ambassador said Portugal is now focusing on the future and is keen to enhance cooperation with India across various sectors, including trade. In this context, he said Portugal is also interested in signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the state of Maharashtra.

The Ambassador mentioned that this year holds special significance for both India and Portugal, as it marks the 50th anniversary of the re-establishment of diplomatic relations between the two nations. He informed that efforts are underway to strengthen bilateral cooperation in areas such as trade, tourism, textiles, and information technology. He told the Governor that he was meeting over a hundred business representatives in Mumbai.

The Ambassador informed that around 1.25 lakh Indians reside in Portugal, and that they had integrated well into Portuguese society. He said Indians possess a wide range of skills, and added that Portugal currently has a growing need for skilled manpower.

        Sharing that Portugal is ranked the fifth safest country in the world next only to the Scandinavian countries, the Ambassador added that Portugal is a leading destination in global tourism. He expressed Portugal’s interest in increasing cooperation with India in the field of tourism.

The Ambassador also shared that Portuguese is spoken in around 15 countries, including Portugal, Brazil, Mozambique, Angola, East Timor, among others.

Welcoming the Ambassador to Maharashtra, Governor Radhakrishnan noted that Spanish and Portuguese are widely spoken languages across the world. He told the Ambassador that in his capacity as Chancellor of universities in Maharashtra, he has advised universities to offer at least one European language to the students. He noted that learning foreign languages would help students explore career and business opportunities internationally.

The Governor suggested that Portugal should focus on select sectors such as infrastructure, information technology, tourism, and textiles, and make efforts to increase the current trade volume from USD 1.2 billion to at least USD 10 billion.

हरित कर्ज रोख्यांद्वारे महापालिकेने २०० कोटी रुपयांचा निधी यशस्वीरित्या उभारला आहे. बॉम्बे स्टॉक एक्स्चेंज (बीएसई) च्या इलेक्ट्रॉनिक निविदा प्रणालीवर खासगी गुंतवणुकीच्या माध्यमातून हरित कर्ज रोखे इश्यू करण्यात आले होते. गुंतवणूकदारांचा पिंपरी चिंचवड महानगरपालिकेवर असलेला विश्वास अधोरेखित करत, इश्यू सुरु होताच केवळ एका मिनिटात १०० कोटी रुपयांचा मूळ भाग भरला गेला, तर एकूण ५१३ कोटी रुपयांच्या निविदा प्राप्त झाल्या, म्हणजेच रोख्याला ५.१३ पट अधिक मागणी मिळाली. हरित कर्ज रोखे इश्यूला क्रिसिल आणि केअर या मान्यताप्राप्त संस्थाकडून 'एए +' (AA+) पतमानांकन प्राप्त झाले आहे. हरित कर्ज रोख्यातून उभारलेला निधी निगडी प्राधिकरणातील हरित सेतू प्रकल्प आणि गवळीमाथा ते इंद्रायणी नगर चौक दरम्यानचा टेल्को रस्ता विकास प्रकल्प या दोन महत्त्वाच्या पायाभूत प्रकल्पांसाठी वापरण्यात येणार आहे.

राज्य शासनाच्या यंत्रणा, स्थानिक स्वराज्य संस्था आणि स्वयंसेवी संस्थांमध्ये समन्वय साधून ‘सक्षम’ सारखे कार्यक्रम अधिक व्यापक पातळीवर राबविल्यास शिक्षणाच्या माध्यमातून उद्योजकतेचा पाया रुजवण्याचे हे एक प्रभावी उदाहरण ठरेल, असा विश्वास मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी व्यक्त केला आहे.

2023-24 मध्ये नागपूर जिल्ह्यातील निवडक शाळांमध्ये सक्षम उपक्रम राबविण्यात आला. या उपक्रमाद्वारे शालेय जीवनातच विद्यार्थ्यांच्या मनावर अत्यंत प्रभावीपणे उद्यमशिलतेला चालना देणारे संस्कार घडविता आले. यातून उत्तम प्रकारे कौशल्य शिक्षणाचा एक यशस्वी प्रयत्न आम्हाला करता आला याचे समाधान आहे. यातून विद्यार्थ्यांनी नोकरी/ स्वयंरोजगार निर्मिती कशी होऊ शकते याची प्रत्यक्ष अनुभूती घेतली. विद्यार्थ्यांचा विश्वास यातून वाढला. हा उपक्रम भविष्यातही मोठे परिवर्तन साध्य करुन दाखविल, असे प्रतिपादन नागपूर जिल्हा परिषदेच्या तत्कालीन मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी सौम्या शर्मा यांनी केले.

उद्यम मार्फत राज्यात आतापर्यंत नागपूर जिल्हा परिषदेच्या ३० शाळांमध्ये पथदर्शी प्रकल्प राबविण्यात आला असून ४० प्रकल्पांचे प्रदर्शन भरविण्यात आले आहे. अमरावती जिल्हा परिषदेच्या २१२ शाळांतील आठ हजार विद्यार्थ्यांसोबत कार्यक्रम राबविण्यात आला असून २०२५-२६ मध्ये ४०० शाळांमध्ये विस्तार करण्यात येणार आहे. राज्यात १५ हजार विद्यार्थ्यांनी सहभाग घेतलेल्या सक्षम कार्यक्रमामार्फत २५०० हून अधिक व्यवसाय कल्पना सादर करण्यात आल्या, १५०० प्रोटोटाइप तयार झाले, तर ५०० हून अधिक विद्यार्थ्यांनी उत्पादनांची विक्री केली. एकूणच विद्यार्थ्यांच्या मनोवृत्तीत सकारात्मक बदल दिसून आला असून, ५०० शिक्षकांना उद्योजकतेसंबंधी प्रशिक्षण देण्यात आले असल्याची माहिती उद्यम लर्निंग फाउंडेशनच्या वतीने देण्यात आली आहे.
