Reforms in the education sector must involve cooperation from related stakeholders, beginning with anganwadis (rural childcare centers). Good facilities can be created through the participation of charitable organizations. Efforts must also focus on water conservation, industrial promotion, integration of various schemes, solid waste, and sewage management. Pollution in rivers and streams must be prevented. Through schemes like "Lakhpati Didi," women can be empowered to bring about major changes. Providing mobile marketplaces to women in self-help groups will help their products reach more customers, the Chief Minister noted.
Target to Build 30 Lakh Houses: Minister Jaykumar Gore
Minister Gore said that so far, approval has been given to 13.5 lakh houses, and the first installment has been disbursed for 10 lakh houses, of which 46,000 have been completed. The Rural Development Department has set a target to build 30 lakh houses, and efforts are underway to provide land for the same.
The process of creating a "Mukhyamantri Samruddha Gram Yojana" is underway, aiming for 100% implementation of government schemes in selected villages. Villages doing good work under this scheme will be rewarded. Special efforts are being made to strengthen public trust in ‘Zilla Parishad’s’.
In his introductory speech, Principal Secretary Dawale provided an overview of the workshop, mentioning that actions have been taken on 20 out of 21 points under the 100 Days Program. Various districts have undertaken innovative initiatives to provide better services to citizens. Topics like the UMED campaign, health insurance schemes, education, and the use of artificial intelligence were discussed on the first day.
As part of the 100 Days Program, the following were inaugurated by the Chief Minister: Single Unified Portal, Housing distribution app developed by the Directorate of Rural Housing, Bhumilabh Portal, Maha Awas Abhiyan Dashboard, Dashboards developed by MGNREGA Commissioner, Nagpur, Additionally, a documentary created under the National Gram Swaraj Abhiyan was unveiled.
A booklet based on innovative initiatives by 20 Zilla Parishads across the state and the ‘Maha Awas’ Quarterly Magazine were also published. The Chief Minister instructed that discussions should be held in various groups to create documents related to best practices and improvements in work processes.
The event was attended by Divisional Commissioners, Chief Executive Officers of Zilla Parishads, Additional Chief Executive Officers, and Project Directors of District Rural Development Agencies.
