Criminal Cases to Be Filed Against Encroachers at Three Locations in Pune

Mumbai, May 29 : Criminal cases will be filed against those responsible for encroachments at three locations in Pune city—Katraj, Kondhwa, and Yewalewadi—as per the directive issued by Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule during the ongoing session of the Maharashtra Legislature.
The Minister instructed officials from the Pune Municipal Corporation and the Revenue Department to take immediate action in these cases. A meeting related to this issue was held at the Ministry under the chairmanship of Minister Bawankule. MLA Yogesh Tilekar, along with officials from the Pune Municipal Corporation and the Pune District Collectorate, joined the meeting via video conferencing. Additional Secretaries Satyanarayan Bajaj and Ajit Deshmukh were present at the Ministry.
Minister Bawankule further stated that he would soon conduct a field visit to personally inspect the actions taken on this matter raised during the Legislature session.
