मुंबई, दि. 10 : शासनाने सुरू केलेली ‘आपले सरकार सेवा केंद्र’ ही योजना नागरिकांना त्यांच्या हक्काच्या सेवांचा सुलभ लाभ मिळवून देण्यासाठी आहे. त्यामुळे मुंबई उपनगरातील प्रत्येक आपले सरकार सेवा केंद्र हे नागरिकांच्या विश्वासाचे प्रतीक व्हावे, अशी अपेक्षा माहिती तंत्रज्ञान मंत्री तथा मुंबई उपनगर पालकमंत्री ॲड. आशिष शेलार यांनी व्यक्त केली          

चेतना महाविद्यालय येथील सभागृहात आयोजित आपले सरकार सेवा केंद्र वितरण प्रसंगी ते बोलत होते. यावेळी मुंबई उपनगर जिल्हाधिकारी सौरभ कटियार, उपजिल्हाधिकारी सुभाष काकडे तसेच मुंबई उपनगरातील आपले सरकार सेवा केंद्र चालक उपस्थित होते.

बैठकीत रस्ता अपघात रोखण्यासाठी सर्व विभागांनी समन्वयाने काम करण्याचे निर्देश देण्यात

 बैठकीत रस्ता अपघात रोखण्यासाठी सर्व विभागांनी समन्वयाने काम करण्याचे निर्देश देण्यात आले. तसेच ब्लॅक स्पॉट्स दूर करण्यासाठी सार्वजनिक बांधकाम विभागाने तातडीने उपाययोजना कराव्यात, अशी सूचना करण्यात आली.

 

केंद्र सरकारच्या आयआरएडी पोर्टलचा प्रभावी वापर, आयटीएमएस, एटीएस आणि एडीटीटी प्रकल्पांची गतिमान अंमलबजावणी, तसेच हेल्मेटचा अनिवार्य वापर या विषयांवरही समितीने भर दिला. सर्व शासकीय अधिकारी व कर्मचारी यांनीही दुचाकी चालविताना हेल्मेटचा वापर करणे बंधनकारक असल्याच्या सूचना यावेळी देण्यात आल्या.

 

तसेच जिल्हास्तरावर नियमितपणे रस्ता सुरक्षा समित्यांच्या बैठका घेऊन अपघात प्रतिबंधक उपाययोजना राबविण्याचे निर्देशही देण्यात आले. रस्ता सुरक्षा नियमांची प्रभावी अंमलबजावणी करून राज्यातील अपघात आणि अपघाती मृत्यू रोखण्याचे उद्दिष्ट असल्याचे यावेळी सांगण्यात आले.

मुंबई, दि. 10 : सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाचे सेवानिवृत्त न्यायाधीश तथा रस्ता सुरक्षा समितीचे अध्यक्ष अभय सप्रे यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली राज्यातील रस्ता सुरक्षा उपाययोजनांबाबत उच्चस्तरीय बैठक झाली. बैठकीस मुख्य सचिव राजेशकुमार तसेच गृह, परिवहन, नगर विकास, सार्वजनिक बांधकाम, सार्वजनिक आरोग्य आणि शालेय शिक्षण विभागाचे वरिष्ठ अधिकारी उपस्थित होते.

 

सनितीचे अध्यक्ष अभय सप्रे 9 ते 14 नोव्हेंबरदरम्यान मुंबई–पुणे दौऱ्यावर असून, रस्ता सुरक्षा सुधारणा आणि सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने दिलेल्या निर्देशांच्या अंमलबजावणीचा आढावा घेण्यासाठी ही बैठक आयोजित करण्यात आली.

The Sanchar Saathi portal has also been instrumental in tackling cases where international numbers appear as Indian (+91) numbers to defraud citizens.

The Department of Telecommunications and Police authorities coordinate closely to investigate such cases promptly, disable fraudulent networks, and thereby reinforce national security.

Citizens are requested to report any international calls appearing from Indian numbers by contacting the toll-free helpline 1963.

Citizens are urged to preserve the original invoice of their mobile purchase, as it contains the device’s IMEI number.

If a device has two SIM card slots, it will have two different IMEI numbers.
Users can check their IMEI numbers by dialling *#06#, and are advised to save a screenshot of the information securely in their email or other safe location.

This ensures that in case of loss or theft, all relevant details are readily available for necessary action.

Through Sanchar Saathi, users can prevent the misuse of lost mobile phones and play an active role in ensuring cyber safety by reporting fraud or suspicious communications.

The Sanchar Saathi portal offers the following important services:

• Know Your Mobile Connections – to check the number of mobile connections registered under a person’s name.
• Block Your Lost/Stolen Mobile – to block the IMEI of a lost or stolen mobile handset.
• Verify IMEI – to verify the authenticity of a device and its IMEI number.

These services strengthen mobile identity management and enhance user safety.

In addition, through a special feature named “Chakshu”, citizens can report suspicious calls, SMS, or WhatsApp messages, thereby helping prevent fraud, cybercrime, fake identities, and unsolicited commercial communications.
