The aim is to make Maharashtra the first slum-free state. Along with Central subsidies, the State Government will provide ₹50,000 per house and install solar energy for free electricity. With such affordable and quality homes, the “Solapur Pattern” has set an example in the housing sector, even surpassing private developers. Solapur has shown Maharashtra the way forward in delivering affordable, quality homes for the needy, said Mr. Fadnavis.

In memory of Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who laid the foundation for a new India, the Rashtratej Atal Housing Society has developed a beautiful housing project under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban). The Chief Minister noted that very well-planned houses have been constructed.

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government has launched PMAY to provide housing along with addressing issues of education, health, and employment. Some projects under this scheme were implemented through PPP mode, of which this is one. Under the Atal Construction Scheme, ₹2 lakh assistance was given, green zone approval reduced land prices, and subsidies were provided under PMAY. Thus, beneficiaries received affordable housing, with bank EMIs equivalent to house rent, ensuring ownership.
