मुंबई, दि ३ : जागतिक स्तरावर आशय निर्मितीच्या क्षेत्रात भारत एक उत्कृष्ट व्यावसायिक भागीदार म्हणून सज्ज असल्याचे प्रतिपादन  एव्हीजीसी-एक्सआर मंच, फिक्कीचे माजी अध्यक्ष,  अशिष कुलकर्णी यांनी व्यक्त केले.

बांद्रा-कुर्ला कॉम्प्लेक्स येथील जिओ वर्ल्ड सेंटरमध्ये आयोजित "वेव्हज २०२५, दृकश्राव्य मनोरंजन समिट" मध्ये ‘लाईट्स, कॅमेरा, एक्सआर: व्हर्च्युअल प्रॉडक्शन इज रिशेपिंग ग्लोबल सिनेमा’  (Lights, camera,xr how virtual production is reshaping global cinema ) या विषयावर आयोजित परिसंवादात श्री.कुलकर्णी बोलत होते.

आधुनिक तंत्रज्ञानाच्या युगात जागतिक सिनेमा  कशा पद्धतीने बदलत आहे या विषयावर  चित्रपट दिग्दर्शक केतन मेहता, अशिष कुलकर्णी माजी अध्यक्ष, एव्हीजीसी-एक्सआर मंच, फिक्की यांच्या सह  लायटस स्टुडिओ आणि ओटीटी अमेरिकाचे मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी रागीव खेऱोर आणि ब्रायन निट्झकिन – सह-संस्थापक, ऑर्बिटल स्टुडिओज या तज्ञांनी आपली मते मांडली. सत्राचे सूत्रसंचालन मीडिया तंत्रज्ञान नवोपक्रमक,  लोनाकोचे संस्थापक सायमन इंग्रॅम यांनी केले.

सिनेसृष्टीत तंत्रज्ञानाचा झपाट्याने होणारा वापर सिनेमा निर्मितीच्या प्रत्येक टप्प्याला नवे वळण देत आहे. व्हर्च्युअल प्रॉडक्शन ही केवळ एक संकल्पना राहिली नसून, ती आता सर्जनशीलता, कार्यक्षमता आणि जागतिक सहकार्याचा नवा मार्ग ठरत असल्याचा सूर व्यक्त करत या विशेष सत्रात, जगभरातील तंत्रज्ञान आणि सिनेसृष्टीतील अग्रणी तज्ज्ञ रागीव खेऱोर, ब्रायन निट्झकिन, आणि सायमन इंग्रॅम  या वक्त्यांनी चर्चासत्रात सहभाग घेतला . यावेळी हे  तंत्रज्ञान प्रत्यक्षात कसे कार्य करते आणि ते सिनेमा निर्मितीला कशी दिशा देत आहे  यादृष्टीने व्हर्च्युअल प्रॉडक्शनच्या भविष्याच्या अनुषंगाने वक्त्यांनी आपले म्हणणे मांडले.

आशिष कुलकर्णी, म्हणाले की चित्रपट आणि इतर सर्व प्रकारच्या आशय निर्मितीसाठी भारत सर्वार्थाने सुयोग्य ठिकाण आहे. भारतीय हवामानामुळे जगातील इतर देशांच्या तुलनेत भारतात  विविध सिनेमा व संलग्न क्षेत्रात निर्मिती साठी उत्कृष्ट संधी आहे. भविष्यात येत्या पाच दहा वर्षांत भारत  व्हर्चुअल निर्मिती मधील एक महासत्ता बनेल. केंद्र सरकार यासाठी पाठिंबा देत आवश्यक सहकार्य करत आहेत, त्यामुळे गेल्या दहा वर्षांत भारतात निर्मिती प्रकल्पाच्या प्रमाणात वाढ होत आहे.

चित्रपट दिग्दर्शक केतन मेहता म्हणाले की, गोष्ट, कथा सांगण्याची समृद्ध परंपरा भारतात आहे. सकस आशय हा भारतीय सिनेमाचे वैशिष्ट्य राहिला आहे. त्यामुळे बदल्यात आधुनिक तंत्रज्ञानाच्या युगात आपल्या सृजनशीलतेला मोठे अवकाश प्राप्त होईल. त्याचा लाभ भारतीय कलाकार, तंत्रज्ञ यांनी अवश्य घेतला पाहिजे. हा आपल्या क्षमता सिद्ध करून त्या जागतिक पातळीवर पोहचवण्याचा काळ आहे. यामध्ये आधुनिक तंत्रज्ञानाची उपयुक्तता सर्वाधिक प्रभावी ठरत आहे.

 सृजनशीलता, वास्तव आणि कल्पना शक्ती यामध्ये खूप सूक्ष्म फरक आहे. त्या खूप सुंदर पद्धतीने एकत्रितपणे आशय निर्मितीसाठी सक्रिय आहेत. यामध्ये आधुनिक तंत्रज्ञान निश्चितच मोठा प्रभाव टाकत असल्याचे मत श्री. पाठक यांनी व्यक्त केले.

मुंबई, दि. ३ : लघुपट हे मनोरंजनाचे माध्यम नाही तर सामाजिक आणि व्यक्तिगत जीवनातील भावना आणि विचार प्रभावी मांडण्याचे प्रभावी माध्यम आहे,असे मत प्रसिद्ध लेखक आणि दिग्दर्शक वयाचेच्लाव गुज़ यांनी व्यक्त केले.

श्री. गुज़ म्हणाले, सामजिक जीवनात आपल्याला येणाऱ्या वेगवेगळ्या अनुभवातून प्रत्येकाच्या मनात एक लघुपट (शॉर्ट फिल्म) तयार असतो, फक्त त्याला मूर्त स्वरूप देण्याची गरज असते. डिजिटल माध्यमामुळे आता ही प्रक्रिया अधिक सुलभ झाली  आहे.आजच्या तरुण कलावंतांमध्ये लघुपट निर्मितीकडे अधिक कल वाढला आहे. लघुपटाचे यश विषयापेक्षा त्यामागील भावना आणि आशय प्रेक्षकांपर्यंत नेमकेपणाने पोहोचविण्यात असते असे त्यांनी सांगितले. यावेळी विविध विषयांवर लघुपट दाखविण्यात आले.

मुंबई, दि. ३ : समाजाच्या कानाकोपऱ्यात पोहोचण्यासाठी कम्युनिटी रेडिओ हे अत्यंत महत्त्वाचे माध्यम आहे. या माध्यमातून समाजातील प्रत्येक घटकाला व्यासपीठ देण्याचे काम देशातील कम्युनिटी रेडिओ यांनी करावे, असे आवाहन माहिती व प्रसारण राज्यमंत्री एल. मुरुगन यांनी केले.

 

मुंबईत सुरू असलेल्या 'वेव्हज २०२५' या जागतिक परिषदेच्या निमित्ताने आठव्या राष्ट्रीय कम्युनिटी रेडिओ संमेलनाचे आयोजन करण्यात आले. या सोहळ्याच्या उद्घाटनप्रसंगी श्री. मुरुगन यांनी मार्गदर्शन केले. यावेळी माहिती व प्रसारण मंत्रालयाचे सचिव संजय जाजू, सहसचिव पृथुल कुमार, इंडियन इन्स्टिट्यूट ऑफ कम्युनिकेशनच्या कुलगुरु डॉ. अनुपमा भटनागर आदी उपस्थित होते. उत्कृष्ट कार्य करणाऱ्या कम्युनिटी रेडिओ यांना इनोव्हेटिव्ह कम्युनिकेशन, प्रमोटिंग लोकल कल्चर, सस्टेनेबिलिटी मॉडेल अवॉर्ड्स यासारखे विविध पुरस्कार देऊन यावेळी सन्मानित करण्यात आले.

 

माहिती व प्रसारण राज्यमंत्री श्री मुरुगन म्हणाले, कम्युनिटी रेडिओच्या कार्यक्रमांमध्ये स्थानिक समाजाच्या भावना, तेथील संस्कृती, कला, साहित्य, खानपान यांचे प्रतिबिंब पाहायला मिळते. वेव्हजच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर हे संमेलन होत असल्याने त्याला एक वेगळा आयाम प्राप्त झाला आहे. कम्युनिटी रेडिओच्या माध्यमातून माहिती व मनोरंजनाबरोबरच महिला सक्षमीकरण, संस्कृतीवर्धन, ग्रामीण विकासासाठी काम होत आहे याचे समाधान वाटते. यापुढील काळात तंत्रज्ञानाचा अधिकाधिक वापर करून जास्तीत जास्त समुदायापर्यंत पोहोचण्यासाठी कम्युनिटी रेडिओ यांनी प्रयत्न करावेत, असे प्रतिपादनही त्यांनी यावेळी केले.

 

उद्घाटनाच्या मुख्य सोहळ्यानंतर कम्युनिटी रेडिओशी संबंधित विविध विषयांवर दिवसभर चर्चासत्रांचे आयोजन करण्यात आले. या चर्चासत्रांमध्ये कम्युनिटी रेडिओच्या आर्थिकदृष्ट्या विकासाबरोबरच त्यांच्या सक्षमीकरणाबाबत चर्चा करण्यात आली. या चर्चासत्रामध्ये देशातील विविध विद्यापीठातील विषयतज्ज्ञांनी तसेच विविध कम्युनिटी रेडिओच्या प्रतिनिधींनी सहभाग घेतला.

For the first time, the Indian Institute of Creative Technology (IICT) will be established in Mumbai, with a funding of ₹400 crore approved by the central government. Global giants like Google, Apple, Microsoft, and Adobe will collaborate in setting up this institute. Through WAVES, India is progressing towards becoming a global hub for the creative industry, said Ashwini Vaishnaw in his welcome address.

Actor Anupam Kher outlined the vision behind the WAVES initiative. Singers M.M. Keeravani, Shreya Ghoshal, and Mangli performed the welcome song. WAVES advisory board members including Mohanlal, Hema Malini, Kartik Aaryan, S.S. Rajamouli, Rajinikanth, Anil Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Ranbir Kapoor, Aamir Khan, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, and Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen shared their thoughts during the event.

On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi also unveiled postage stamps in memory of Gurudutt, P. Bhanumathi, Raj Khosla, Ritwik Ghatak, and Salil Chowdhury for their contributions to Indian cinema.

Mumbai, May 1: India’s Orange Economy stands on three strong pillars – content, creativity, and culture. In the coming years, India’s creative economy will hold a significant share in the country’s GDP. The global animation market is currently worth over $430 billion and is expected to double in the next 10 years. The WAVES summit will open new doors of success for India's animation and graphics industry, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit 2025 (WAVES) in a grand ceremony held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. The event was attended by Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Union Ministers Ashwini Vaishnaw (Railways and I&B), S. Jaishankar (External Affairs), Dr. L. Murugan (MoS I&B), Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, and several national and international dignitaries.

Indian films have now reached audiences across the globe. Today, Indian films are screened in more than 100 countries. Foreign audiences are not just watching Indian films but also trying to understand them. A notable aspect of Indian cinema is that many international viewers are watching Indian content with subtitles. India has become a global hub for film production, digital content, gaming, fashion, and music, Modi said.
