Mumbai Water Metro Must Surpass Kochi Model
CM Fadnavis said that the Mumbai Water Metro Project should operate fully electric boats, initially using a hybrid model. New boats should be procured. He added that the Mumbai Water Metro must be even bigger and more advanced than Kochi’s, and the project should be implemented accordingly.
The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Rajesh Aggarwal, Additional Chief Secretary (Transport & Ports) Sanjay Sethi, CEO of Maharashtra Maritime Board Pradeep P., and other senior officials.
