220 Development Projects in Pune Metropolitan Region; Funds of ₹32,523 Crore Approved

Nagpur, Dec. 11 : Considering the rapidly increasing urbanisation in Maharashtra, the State Government has prioritised providing essential civic amenities to urban citizens. Pune city is also expanding at a significant pace. Accordingly, 220 development projects have been undertaken in the Pune Metropolitan Region (PMR), and funds amounting to ₹32,523 crore have been approved, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said. He also directed that city development plans should be finalized only after preparing road development plans.
