Mumbai, May 6: Several tools are available for using innovative technology in government work for managing information, time planning, monitoring tasks, and reporting. Using such tools will certainly enhance efficiency in official operations, said Agriculture Commissioner Suraj Mandhare.
As part of the skill development of administrative officers and staff under the "Tech Wari: Maharashtra Tech Learning Week," a lecture on “Effective Use of Technology” was delivered by Agriculture Commissioner Suraj Mandhare and Dr. Vikas Naik, Joint CEO of the Maharashtra State Innovation Society, at the Conference Hall, 6th Floor, Mantralaya. Commissioner Mandhare stated that tools like Google Keep, Evernote, Microsoft OneNote, Google Drive, Dropbox, ClickUp, Microsoft To Do, Google Calendar, Google Sheets, and Telegram can help speed up work. Technology is something that brings everyone to the same level without any discrimination. It benefits everyone regardless of physical ability, color, caste, or religion.
He added that using tools like Microsoft OneNote can help resolve many governance-related challenges. Tablets with stylus pens are extremely useful in administrative tasks. He also provided information about the "Mahasampark" application, which helps in easily accessing information about officers in the Indian Administrative Service and public representatives. He emphasized that there is a need for problem-solving technologies in the administrative system, and technology provides powerful tools for that purpose.
